Celebrate Together Sessions are a great success as evaluated by the participants themselves!

Four group sessions were organised over Christmas and the New year period to bring residents together. We worked with women and families from the West Accrington area. All in all a total of 155 people from Asian, Polish, African and other white backgrounds  participated.

The highlight of the programme was the Friendship event to bring to light the Friendships made and the service users commitment to engaging with each other and creating a better understanding.

Everyone enjoyed listening to the guest speakers and taking part in the party activities. In relation to Friendships and as a little gift to symbolise the forthcoming holiday period, each of the service users received a Friendship bracelet. This was a nice token as it symbolises the Friendships made and the inclusive approach that Aawaz strive for
