She started Aawaz in 1997!! A service for women by women, helping women & families from south Asian and other minoritised communities.
From a small beginnings, 29 years later recognised for the charity organisation that helps so many women in Hyndburn and across Lancashire.
First Muslim woman to be honoured with Freedom of the borough in Hyndburn.
