Aawaz supports celebration and remembrance of the Accrington Pals sacrifice and centenary of the Somme.

Aawaz ladies paid their respects and remembered the sacrifice of the Accrington Pals the fallen, spending time listening to the roll call held in Accrington town centre on 1st July 2016. Aawaz Manager Zulekha Dala participated in the roll call along with a number of other people. The roll call started at 9am and lasted time 3pm.

The ladies group visited the Town Hall to look at the Pals exhibit seeing some of the letters sent by family and personal items of the soldiers.
